1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Wardrobe Studio handles information when you use the app. Wardrobe Studio is designed as a personal wardrobe, outfit planning, wishlist, and style-tracking app. This page is a practical transparency document and does not replace professional legal advice.
Wardrobe Studio is developed and maintained by Nacho MartÃnez, operating under the Sizle Digital Product Studio brand.
2. Information You Add or Create
Wardrobe Studio stores the following information when you choose to add or create it: wardrobe items, item names, categories, brands, colors, notes, barcodes, purchase prices, wishlist target prices, product links, photos of clothing, outfits, wear logs, style preferences, trip plans, destination names, dates, recommendation feedback, notification preferences, and profile details such as name, email, birthday, avatar symbol, and optional profile photo.
3. Information Processed by Optional Features
Wardrobe Studio may process the following information only when you enable or use the related feature: location, camera access, photo library access, notifications, widgets, backups, purchases, account-related information, and product information shared through the Safari share extension.
If you create or sign in to an account, Wardrobe Studio may process account information such as email address, authentication status, and a provider user identifier. Passwords and verification flows are handled by the authentication provider rather than being stored directly by Wardrobe Studio.
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide Wardrobe Studio with your name, email address, private relay email address, and provider identifier depending on your Apple ID choices. This information is used to create or access your Wardrobe Studio account and to provide account-related functionality.
If you use the Safari share extension, Wardrobe Studio may temporarily store product information from the page you shared, such as product URL, suggested name, brand, image URL, price text, currency, color, and capture time. This is used to prefill wishlist items.
4. How We Use Information
Wardrobe Studio uses information to save your wardrobe, build outfit suggestions, track wears, maintain wishlist items, generate style statistics, personalize weather-aware recommendations, prepare trip outfit plans, show widgets, schedule reminders you enable, manage account access, process Pro entitlements, respond to support requests, and maintain app reliability.
5. Local Storage, Backups, and Shared App Data
Most wardrobe content is stored locally on your device unless a sync, account, backup, or backend-backed feature explicitly sends that data to a provider. The app also uses an Apple App Group to share limited data with the widget and share extension, such as the look-of-the-day cache, widget thumbnails, and pending wishlist share payloads.
Exported backup files may include wardrobe data, notes, outfit information, wishlist entries, and photos if included in the export. Anyone with access to an exported backup file may be able to view the information contained in it. Keep exported backups in a safe location and avoid sharing them with people you do not trust.
6. Permissions and Device Features
Wardrobe Studio may request access to your photo library so you can choose garment and profile photos, camera access so you can scan barcodes or capture item-related content, and notification permission so reminders and planning nudges can be scheduled. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
Location is used to provide local weather-aware recommendations when you grant permission. You can deny location access and continue using Wardrobe Studio, although some weather-aware or location-based features may be limited or require manual configuration where available.
7. Third-Party Services
Wardrobe Studio uses Apple services such as StoreKit for purchases and subscriptions, WeatherKit for weather-aware recommendations, Photos, Camera, Notifications, Widgets, and App Groups where enabled by the operating system.
Weather information may be provided using Apple Weather where available. Weather data attribution and source information should be displayed in the app where weather data is shown.
Firebase may be used for authentication and account management. Wardrobe Studio content is not uploaded to Firebase unless a sync or backend-backed feature clearly indicates that it will store that content remotely.
If you use the share extension or product image preview features, Wardrobe Studio may request image data from the product URL or image URL associated with the page you shared.
8. Analytics and Error Monitoring
Firebase Analytics is disabled in the app configuration covered by this policy. If analytics, crash reporting, or similar monitoring providers are enabled in the future, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before or alongside that change.
Wardrobe Studio does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information. Wardrobe Studio does not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
9. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Wardrobe Studio may offer Pro features through monthly, yearly, or lifetime in-app purchases. Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles payment details, billing, subscription management, cancellations, and refund requests. Wardrobe Studio receives purchase entitlement information, such as product identifiers and transaction status, but does not receive full payment card details.
10. Data Retention
Local wardrobe data remains on your device until you delete it, delete your account from within the app where available, uninstall the app, reset the device, or otherwise remove the data. Manual backup files remain wherever you choose to store them until you delete them.
Account, purchase, and provider-side technical data may be retained by Apple, Firebase, or other involved service providers according to their own policies and legal obligations.
11. User Rights and Privacy Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain uses of personal information. You can delete local wardrobe content in the app and, where account deletion is available, request deletion of the remote account from the app. You can also contact us for privacy requests using the email below.
12. Security
Wardrobe Studio relies on Apple platform security, local device protections, and provider security controls for account and purchase services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so you should protect your device, Apple ID, and any exported backup files.
13. Children's Privacy
Wardrobe Studio is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Wardrobe Studio, contact us so we can review the request.
14. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
