1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using GymMate, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms are in addition to, and do not replace, Apple's standard terms that apply to apps distributed through the App Store.

GymMate is developed and maintained by Nacho Martínez, operating under the Sizle Digital Product Studio brand.

2. Description of the App

GymMate helps you plan training programs, log workouts, track progress, review statistics, manage warm-ups, use timers, receive optional reminders, export training data, delete your account, and use Apple Watch, Apple Health, widgets, Live Activities, App Shortcuts, and AI-assisted features where available.

3. Accounts and Sign-In

GymMate uses account-backed features through Supabase. You may be able to sign in using email and password, Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, or other supported methods shown in the app. You are responsible for keeping your device, account, and credentials secure.

If you use Sign in with Apple, your account access is subject to Apple's sign-in flow and your Apple ID settings. If you use Google sign-in, your account access is also subject to Google's sign-in flow and account settings.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for using GymMate lawfully, entering accurate information, keeping exported files safe, and making sure you have the right to upload, store, sync, share, or export any program text, notes, workout data, profile data, or other content you add to the app.

You must not use GymMate to abuse the service, interfere with availability, bypass rate limits, misuse account, export, deletion, notification, or AI features, attempt unauthorized access, or upload content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

5. Fitness, Health, and Safety

GymMate is provided for personal fitness organization and convenience. It is not medical advice, professional coaching, diagnosis, treatment, injury-prevention guidance, emergency guidance, or a substitute for a qualified health, fitness, or medical professional.

You are responsible for exercising safely, using proper technique, choosing suitable weights and exercises, stopping when needed, and consulting a qualified professional before starting or changing a training program if you have health concerns, injuries, or medical conditions.

6. Apple Health and Apple Watch

Apple Health, Apple Watch, Live Activities, widgets, App Shortcuts, and notification features depend on device support, operating system permissions, Apple services, network availability, and your settings. Health and workout data shown by GymMate may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable.

You control Apple Health permissions through iOS and watchOS. GymMate is not responsible for Apple Health availability, Apple Watch connectivity, sensor accuracy, calorie estimates, activity ring behavior, or decisions made based on device sensor data.

7. AI-Assisted Features and Coaching

GymMate may offer AI-assisted workout summaries, weekly insights, program suggestions, and coaching explanations. In the native iOS app, these features use Apple Foundation Models where available and may be unavailable on unsupported devices, unsupported operating system versions, devices without Apple Intelligence enabled, devices where the model is not ready, or while Low Power Mode is active.

AI output and app-generated recommendations can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your goals, body, equipment, schedule, experience, or health status. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated or app-generated program, progression suggestion, summary, or explanation before using it.

GymMate recommendations are provided for personal organization and convenience only. They are not professional fitness, medical, safety, emergency, or financial advice.

8. Your Content, Sync, and Exports

You keep ownership of the training content you add to GymMate, such as programs, exercises, workout logs, notes, body weight entries, warm-ups, achievements, notification preferences, and exports. You grant GymMate the limited permission needed to store, process, sync, display, analyze, export, and delete that content so the app can provide its features.

GymMate uses local storage and account-backed sync. Offline changes may remain on your device until connectivity returns. Exported files may contain personal training and health-related information, and you are responsible for where you save, share, or transmit those files.

9. Notifications, Widgets, and System Surfaces

Reminders, weekly summaries, streak nudges, progress messages, push notifications, widgets, Live Activities, Apple Watch views, and App Shortcuts are optional convenience features. They may be delayed, unavailable, or affected by operating system settings, notification permissions, network availability, battery settings, Apple platform behavior, or provider limitations.

10. Purchases and Subscriptions

The native iOS app code reviewed for this update does not currently show an active StoreKit purchase or subscription flow. If GymMate offers paid plans, Pro features, in-app purchases, or subscriptions in the future, the specific features, price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial terms will be shown in the app before purchase. Apple-billed purchases, if offered, are processed through Apple's App Store.

Subscription management, cancellations, and refund requests for Apple-billed purchases are handled through the user's Apple ID account and Apple's App Store settings. GymMate cannot directly cancel Apple-billed subscriptions or issue App Store refunds outside Apple's process.

11. Cancellation and Refunds

You can manage or cancel Apple-billed subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's App Store policies and applicable consumer law. GymMate cannot directly cancel Apple-billed subscriptions or issue App Store refunds outside Apple's process.

12. Account Deletion

GymMate provides an in-app account deletion flow for account-backed data. Account deletion may call server-side deletion functions, sign you out, and remove account-backed records subject to verification, backups, security, fraud prevention, and legal retention requirements.

Deleting the app may remove local app data from your device, but it may not automatically delete account-backed records, provider-side records, Apple Health records, exported files, or copies you saved elsewhere.

13. Third-Party Services

GymMate relies on services and platform features from Supabase, Apple, and Google sign-in where applicable. Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, settings, availability, and account requirements.

14. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, code, templates, exercise catalog materials, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app except where permitted by applicable law.

15. Availability and Changes

GymMate may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features may vary by platform, device, operating system version, App Store availability, network availability, account status, provider availability, HealthKit permission state, Apple Intelligence availability, or configuration.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GymMate is provided as is and without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the app, including injuries, training decisions, data loss, missed notifications, failed sync, unavailable exports, account deletion mistakes, Apple Health issues, Apple Watch issues, AI output errors, or reliance on app-generated recommendations and summaries.
